Charge
The Research Committee is a committee of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Assembly that functions in an advisory capacity to the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Board of Directors and the Assembly. The committee supports the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’s strategic goal to foster discovery to improve the health and wellbeing of people, animals and the environment (Strategic Plan Goal 5).
Composition
The Research Committee is comprised of the Associate and Assistant Deans for Research from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Institutional, Provisional, and Collaborative Members; and the director from each Affiliate Member institution. The leadership of the Research Committee consists of a chair, chair-elect, and past chair, with one-year terms in each position. Leadership transition occurs immediately following the Annual Conference.
