Sonography Curriculum

Below is a recommended sequencing of prerequisites (year 1) and the required curriculum for years 2, 3, and 4 for the diagnostic medical sonography degree. The prerequisites may be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. For students taking prerequisite courses elsewhere, all prerequisite courses must be completed by the end of the winter term at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ for consideration of fall enrollment.

Note: Acceptance to the sonography program is required for further progression. All SONO courses must be taken in sequence. Once admitted to the sonography program, all sophomores, juniors, and seniors must complete the sonography curriculum at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ as scheduled in the curriculum below. There is no dual enrollment permitted. For any courses within the sonography curriculum students wish to CLEP, the student must provide proof of passing the CLEP prior to the start date of the course in the sonography curriculum.
